Well, Courtney tagged me and now I have to find the 4th photo in my 4th photo folder and post it....so here is goes. This is from a lake trip Tom and I took with Dad, Natalie, Chris, etc this past spring. Dad was trying to blow up a raft for us, but we decided it had a hole in it. What a good dad, thanks for trying!

School's out!!

Our girl loved Hannah Montana!

As most of you know, I teach 2nd grade at Vestavia Hills Elementary East. I love my job, but in December the children get very excited at hyped up on candy as the break approaches. We are all excited to have 2 weeks off to sleep late and spend time with our families! I am very proud of my students and what we did for  our christmas project this year. The students did chores to earn money for us to buy gifts for 2 needy children. We sponsored an 8 year old girl and a 2 month old boy from the Giving Tree at Church of the Highlands. I thought it was a great opportunity to teach my students about the spirit of giving. They exceeded my expectations and raised a little over 200 dollars. We were able to really bless these children with a great Christmas! These are a few pictures of the stuff we bought for them.

We had our In-laws, some of Tom's siblings with their wives and husbands, nieces, nephews, and his aunt and uncle over for dinner last night. It was a fun time. I had some left over stuff from making gingerbread houses with my students, so I brought it home for the kids to use for their entertainment. Here are a few cute pictures!

Tom and his dogs

Here is some pictures of Tom hanging with our children!

Boston, MA and New Hampshire

Tom's elementary school

Tom and I were blessed to be able to visit his extended family in the New England area this past weekend. It was a fast trip and I enjoyed meeting everyone I had not met before now. However, I never want to live there, it was 12 degrees Saturday night. Also, New Hampshire had one of the worst ice storms they had seen in 30 years, which led to massive power outages all over the area! Can you imagine, no heat and 12 degrees...yuck!  Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Christmas Parties Galore

Our first Christmas party as Mr. and Mrs. Tom Drolet was a ton of fun...but we missed all of our friends who were attending and working the LIFE retreat at church. So...we decided to have another party next Saturday (12/20). If you are free, drop in, the more the merrier is our motto!  Here are a few pictures from the party last week. Yes, Tom did make us go caroling to our music minister and youth pastor from Highlands and the music minister from Brook Hills...go figure. You will see we had Santa and Rudolph.

Our honeymoon was in Negril, Jamaica. We had the most beautiful view from our room and the best weather! 90 degrees and blue skies...doesn't get much better than that! It was a sad day to come home to cold rain in Atlanta!
